Bethany was fantastic! She was able to help me find the perfect location for my proposal, despite the fact I was in Denver. She was very communicative, empathetic, and caring. I wanted to have a photographer capture the proposal in real time without being spotted. She made that happen in the best way! Her photos are amazing. Seriously fantastic.

Bethany was an absolute delight to work with for both our engagement photos as well as our wedding day. We wanted to do something fun and out of the box for our engagement shoot, and she even helped us with props, design and location. It was awesome and memorable! Our wedding day was one of my favorite days of my life, and thankfully I have the most beautiful (and vintage inspired) photos to show for it. She even created a beautiful coffee table book! My 250 guests were stunned at the portraits and art installations created by Bethany. I had a milestone birthday coming up, my 50th, and wanted to tell the story of my "Falling Upward" journey, basically how my trials have been inflected into what's become my "heroes journey" through art. I had 5 motifs: MisEducation, Wilderness, Authenticity, Husbandhood, and Work. Bethany worked with the loose storyboard I had, and spun it into these beautiful, gripping displays. First, we started with a photoshoot where she directed me to portray what would become the centerpieces of each art installation. Then, taking cues from descriptions I had written for each, sketched out each installation. Those sketches were my guideposts so I knew what props to gather. On the day of the party, I brought in boxes of "artifacts" for each of the installations. These artifacts included yarn, wires, lamps, etc. And somehow, she breathed life into each of these, and created artwork that was so compelling, so engaging. She was so joyful in the whole process; in creating the art, she was not just helping express my soul, but she was expressing her own. She took my seed ideas, and extended them way beyond what I could imagine. Thank you Bethany!

"Even though I work in a creative field, the idea of being in a family photo shoot isn't my idea of a good time.... Bethany made the process very easy and fun. We hired her to take family photos while my wife was pregnant to capture the moments before our family grew from three to four. She was accommodating to our hectic schedule and was very professional. Also, I have to add that she was really great with our 3 year old daughter who has a very short attention span. She asked us to bring a few ideas to the table and she was able to take our ideas and turn them into a story! My only regret is not getting her to take photos of the four of us before we moved out of the Bay Area! I would highly recommend."
